How to fix the problem about the libc.so.6 isn’t found under the RHEL 6.9 x64

Hello everyone, it’t time to post a rubbish. I met the problem during using the rKVM to control the server via the application of jnlp under the RHEL 6.9 x64 like above figure, and you need to get the tool of jre from the official website of Oracle at firstly. How to solve this problem about the missing library? We will use the newer package of glibc to fix it. Let’s keep reading:
1) Query the current version about the library of glibc
#strings /lib64/libc.so.6 | grep -i GLIBC
#ll /lib64/libc.so.6
lrwxrwxrwx. 1 root root 12 Jul 15 2017 /lib64/libc.so.6 -> libc-2.12.so

2) Download the soruce tarball of glibc and related plugin
#cd /usr/src/
#wget http://mirror.bjtu.edu.cn/gnu/glibc/glibc-2.15.tar.gz
#wget http://mirror.bjtu.edu.cn/gnu/glibc/glibc-ports-2.15.tar.gz

3) Extract the related tarballs for the installation
#tar zxvf glibc-2.15.tar.gz
#tar zxvf glibc-ports-2.15.tar.gz
#mv glibc-ports-2.15 glibc-2.15/ports
#mkdir build
#cd build
#../glibc-2.15/configure --prefix=/usr --disable-profile --enable-add-ons --with-headers=/usr/include --with-binutils=/usr/bin
#make -j4
#make install

4) Query the current version of library about the glibc
#strings /lib64/libc.so.6 | grep -i GLIBC
#ll /lib64/libc.so.6
lrwxrwxrwx. 1 root root /lib64/libc.so.6 -> libc-2.15.so

5) The solution for accidental deletion about the libc.so.6
#export LD_PRELOAD=/lib/libc-2.12.so
#ln -s /lib/libc-2.12.so lib/libc.so.6

◎、Above context is about how to fix the problem about the libc.so.6 isn’t found under the RHEL 6.9 x64, and I have referred this article to fix this problem. You also can google it if want to know more info. That’s all for today, and hope this article is helpful for you. See you next time!
